Byron has been a family lawyer since 1999. He has experience in all aspects of family law including complex property matters and parenting matters such as international relocation and issues of abuse and parental alienation.
Prior to joining Forte Family Lawyers in 2011, Byron was a family lawyer in Townsville, Queensland. He completed his Bachelor of Laws degree at James Cook University (Queensland).
Byron regularly volunteered at the Townsville Community Legal Service, and in recognition of his long term assistance to that organisation, was awarded life membership in 2010.
Byron also has an interest in his Chinese cultural heritage. Byron speaks Cantonese and understands the culture of the Chinese community.
Byron is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
