Belle has worked as a family lawyer since 1993. She has worked both as a barrister at the Victorian and Western Australian Bars and as a solicitor.
Belle holds a Masters of Law and has extensive litigation experience through her work as a barrister. Belle is a mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Collaborative Practitioner and Arbitrator. She sits on the Executive committee of AIFLAM, a national body representing family law mediators and arbitrators.
Belle recognises that for many clients, the choice of method of resolving their dispute is as important as the outcome. She is keen to ensure that, where possible, conflicts are resolved in a way that is respectful, does not harm the parties' relationship and gives clients the opportunity to create solutions.
Sometimes litigation is necessary and Belle's extensive Court experience gives clients the benefit of her strategic litigation advice.
